Images: The images used on the contents page easily show what the magazine is based upon and allows the reader to recognise what may featured for example “Nixon D3”.The images used are quite large and attract the readers attention easily especially the image of the eye.
Colours and Fonts: a basic colour scheme of black, red and white is used; the colours work well together with the bold fonts allowing the reader to easily see what is featured in the issue.
Layout: the page is set out into three main columns and broken down into five different sections .The two sections which stand out most to the reader are “Your pics, our opinions” and “Tested”, this could show that these features are the most important to the magazine and are more popular with their audience. The way the sections “Technique”, “Win Stuff” and “Your Digital Photo” are segmented may allow the reader to easily recognise which parts of the magazine they want to view first.
